The second installment of the Borderlands series, Borderlands 2 is a game that lives up to its series’ reputation. Being a first-person shooter game, this game allows you to complete campaigns as well as optionally take on side missions of treasure hunting, while operating one of four treasure seekers or Vault Hunters. Like its predecessor, the game gives you the option of many weapons like assault rifles, shotguns, snipers, etc, all made by different manufactures and having different effects. You may choose to pick skill points in a certain character which allow you to improve your attack in certain ways. As your rank in the game increases, you not only achieve points that help you develop skills, but also earn tokens that will help better base stats like recoil reduction, fire rate, among others — making Borderlands 2 PS3 a game for the smart player.
PS3 Borderlands 2 begins where the last game left off. Pandora, a planet rich in minerals is being tyrannically ruled over by Handsome Jack, who intends to monopolise all resources on the planet. There seems to be a hidden vault which can yield ‘Eridium’, a rare and expensive mineral. As a Vault Hunter, you are riding a train when you are attacked. Rescued by Hyperion CL4P-TP or Claptrap unit, you are ordered to travel with them to the city of Sanctuary, as well as join the Crimson Raiders, a resistance group working against Handsome Jack. You are continuously taunted by Handsome Jack on your journey and are guided on it by Guardian Angel. Borderlands 2 for PS3 has a complicated and exciting storyline, as well as superb graphics and audio, making it a fun and challenging game for the dedicated gamer.
